What is a Hoyt Carbon Matrix?

The Hoyt Carbon Matrix is compound bow manufactured by the Hoyt company until 2013. It is 35 inches long and weighs 3.8 pounds. It is capable of firing an arrow at 327 feet per second.
The modern compound bow uses a series of pulleys and cables to multiply the force of the arrow while reducing the amount of strength needed to pull back the bowstring. The Hoyt Carbon Matrix combined this feature with a lightweight, durable carbon fiber frame. It is known for a smooth draw and nearly silent delivery. As of 2014, the Carbon Matrix has been replaced by a newer model, the Carbon Spyder 34.
