Who are the only coaches to win both the Rose Bowl and the Super Bowl?

As of 2014, Dick Vermeil and Pete Carroll are the only head coaches to win both the Rose Bowl and the Super Bowl. At 63 and 62 years old, respectively, Vermeil and Carroll are also the oldest coaches to ever win the Super Bowl.

Vermeil won the Rose Bowl as head coach of the UCLA Bruins in the 1976 Rose Bowl. Vermeil then led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl XXXIV win in 2000. Carroll coached the Trojans to four Rose Bowl wins while at USC, then led the Seattle Seahawks to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014.
