What is the Staff of Light in "Runescape"?

The Staff of Light is a two-handed staff weapon that was released as part of the Feb. 8, 2010, update to Runescape. The staff can only be wielded by characters that have 75 points or more in Magic.

The item is a unique drop that can be received from the ice strykewrym monster. When used as a weapon, the Staff of Light is able to execute a special attack called the "Power of Light." This attack gives the player a 50 percent damage reduction against melee attacks used against him for 60 seconds. The staff has golden sections that can be recolored for 2,000 loyalty points at Solomon's General Store.
