Who started the Rotten Tomatoes film review aggregation website?

Senh Duong launched Rotten Tomatoes on Aug. 12, 1998 as a hobby that he worked on in his spare time. Duong searched the Internet for new movie reviews and had the idea that it would be easier if reviews from multiple sources could be read from a single location.
Duong had previously worked at a web design firm called Design Reactor with two UC Berkeley friends, Patrick Lee and Stephen Wang. He teamed up with them again shortly after the site's initial launch to pursue Rotten Tomatoes on a full-time basis. IGN Entertainment acquired Rotten Tomatoes from Duong and his partners in 2004. As of 2015, the company is owned by Warner Bros.
