What states offer the lowest minimum wage?

As of 2015, the states that offer the lowest minimum wage rates are Georgia and Wyoming, which offer rates lower than the minimum federal rate. Five other states in the United States do not have a state minimum wage law nor premium pay rates after designated work hours.
At the higher end of the scale, the states of Washington, Oregon and the District of Columbia have minimum wage rates that are higher than the federal minimum. The federal minimum wage rate is set at an hourly rate of $7.25. Fourteen states, including Indiana, Kentucky, Texas and Utah, use this rate.
