What is the minimum wage in Colorado?
By Forinfos - 02/04/2025 - 0 comments
The minimum wage in Colorado is $8.23 per hour, as of January 2015. For employees who are tipped, the state minimum wage is $5.21 per hour. These numbers both reflect a small bump up from 2014, when the minimum wage was $8 and for tipped employees $4.98.
The wages are adjusted every year to account for inflation. The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment defines tipped employees as employees engaged in occupations in which they regularly receive more than $30 a month in tips. Moreover, customers have to specifically designate the money as a tip on their credit card slips.
