What is the strongest metal in the world?

The strongest metal on earth is graphene. At the same thickness level, a piece of graphene is over 100 times stronger than a piece of steel.

Graphene is the thinnest yet strongest metal known to man. According to new experiments done by researchers at Columbia University, graphene sheets are eight to ten times better at absorbing impacts from microbullets than steel. Graphene has a tensile strength of 130 gigapascals, while A36 structural steel has a tensile strength of .4 gigapascals. Due to its extreme strength, thin atomic thickness and conductibility, graphene is very expensive and has yet to be released to the public.
