What is stucco interior wall paint?
By Forinfos - 24/11/2025 - 0 comments
Stucco is a cement plaster applied to the inside and outside of buildings. Pigment is added to stucco to alter the color; however, stucco is not considered paint.
Stucco consists of Portland cement, sand and hydrated lime. Stucco is affordable, durable and fire resistant. It can be applied as a finish over most construction materials. Unlike paint, stucco is applied to give a wall texture. Paint is easier to apply than stucco. Stucco must be applied slowly, with three different coats. Drying too quickly causes dehydration of the plaster, resulting in cracking or separating from the frame. Incorrectly applied stucco causes serious damage to a building.
