Was the Sub-Zero 650 refrigerator discontinued?

The Sub-Zero 600 series refrigerators, including the Sub-Zero 650, have been discontinued by the manufacturer as of 2015. These refrigerators were replaced by the BI series model line.

The Sub-Zero 650 model was produced in built-in configurations, such as the bottom-freezer 650S/LH and 650F models. These models had an internal capacity of 15.7 cubic feet for the refrigerator and 4.9 cubic feet for the freezer compartment. The closest equivalent model in current production is the BI-36U/S/TH series, which has an internal capacity of 15.9 cubic feet in the refrigerator and 5.2 cubic feet in the freezer compartment. The BI-36 is also qualified as an Energy Star appliance.
