Is there such a thing as a hangover pill?

As of 2014, the Food and Drug Administration has approved a pill called Blowfish to help relieve a hangover. The Blowfish pills contain caffeine, aspirin and stomach soothers to help ease the pain. The pill comes in effervescent form so it works rapidly.
Although this pill may help relieve some of the symptoms of a hangover, Mayo Clinic states the only cure for a hangover is time. Drinking water and fruit juice help prevent dehydration. The fruit juice may also help the body burn the alcohol faster. The Mayo Clinic also explains that if an individual sleeps long enough, the hangover may have vanished when he awakens.
