What is a summary of the movie "Another Cinderella Story"?

The 2008 film "Another Cinderella Story" is a retelling of the classic fairy tale focusing on Joey, played by Drew Seeley, in the role of Prince Charming as a high school newcomer searching for a girl to help him fit in. He finds Mary, played by Selena Gomez, to show him around the school.

Mary is an orphan who lives with Dominique, the singer her mother used to work for as a back-up singer. Dominique's two daughters harass her regularly while she dreams of becoming a dancer and singer. They try to thwart her plans for pursuing her dreams, but in the end, she drives off with Joey on the way to start studying at the Manhattan Academy of Performing Arts.
