Sun TV Network broadcasts in 27 countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, India and South Africa, as of 2015. It also broadcasts in Europe, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa.

Sun TV Network is a Tamil-language satellite television station founded by Kalanidhi Maran in 1993 and launched in 1995. The Chennai-based station reaches over 95 million households in India and is one of the largest media conglomerates in the country, as well as the world's most-viewed Tamil-language television channel. Some of the channel's popular shows include reality shows such as "Super Dancer" and "Mastana Mastana" and past serials including "Chithi" and "Metti Oli."
