NFL.com posts information about the Super Bowl location four years in advance. Each May the NFL announces where the Super Bowl is going to be held in four year's time.

In May 2014, the location of the 2018 Super Bowl was announced. Super Bowl 50 (L) is going to be in Levi's Stadium in San Francisco, California. Super Bowl 51 (LI) is going to be in Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. Super Bowl 52 (LII) is going to be at the new stadium yet to be named in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2018.

NFL owners gather together each spring to choose the new location of the Super Bowl based on the bids of each interested team.
