Does Suzuki assemble any automobiles in the USA?

Prior to its decision to exit the United States automobile market in 2012, Suzuki assembled various automobile models in plants located in the United States. Some of the models that were produced in the United States included the Suzuki SX4 Sedan and the Suzuki Equator.

As of 2015, Suzuki's official stance on automobile sales is that it will cease once any remaining inventory has been sold. The company continues to have a presence in the United States through its motorcycle, boat motors and all-terrain vehicle product lines. Suzuki began operations in the United States in 1985, but was never able to achieve significant market share compared to other Asian car producers, such as Toyota and Honda.
