What is Swanstone made of?

Swanstone is a cast polymer made from a mix of acrylics, minerals and pigments. It is formed into the desired shape, such as a bathroom shower panel, sink or countertop.
Swanstone is made from recyclable materials, giving it an attractive appearance and durability. Pigments and natural minerals are thoroughly mixed into the polymer so that the surface pattern won't wear away over time. This material is nonporous, easy to clean, and heat, impact and chemical resistant.
It not only stands up to traditional cleansers but also to solvents, acids and bases. Prolonged heat up to 450 degrees won't bother Swanstone a bit. It is also up to five times stronger than other cast polymers.
