What is a Swiss cheese plant?

The Swiss-cheese plant needs a large space, as it grows to over 10 feet tall. The Swiss-cheese plant flowers in its native location of South America, but rarely flowers when grown indoors. When the white flowers fade and die, the plant produces a sweet-corn-cone-shaped fruit. The plant's scientific name is Monstera deliciosa.
