Borderline diabetes usually does not have symptoms, states Mayo Clinic; however, darkened skin on some parts of the body can indicate the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Signs that show a person has advanced to Type 2 diabetes from prediabetes include fatigue, increased thirst, blurred vision and frequent urination.
Also known as prediabetes, borderline diabetes is a condition that indicates a person is at a higher risk of getting diabetes, states WebMD. Fortunately, individuals can take several steps to reverse the risk. A person is prediabetic if the blood sugar level is between 100 to 125. Things that can lower the risk include weight control, moderate exercises and proper diet.
