Who is the tallest living man?

As of 2014, according to Guinness, the world's tallest living man is Sultan Kosen of Turkey. He is 8'3" tall when standing.

Sultan Kosen was born in Turkey on December 10, 1982. He became the world's tallest man in 2009 when he reached a height of 8'1" and has grown 2 more inches since then.

Kosen reached his enormous height because of a tumor that affected his pituitary gland. His parents and siblings are all of normal height.

As of 2014, Kosen lives a fairly normal life despite his height. He is a part-time farmer in Turkey and enjoys playing computer games. He uses his height to help his family perform domestic tasks.
