Who is Tamron Hall?

Tamron Hall is a newscaster with MSNBC and NBC News. She is the anchor for "NewsNation" and the co-host for the 9 a.m. hour of the "Today" show.
Hall joined MSNBC in 2007. She received the Temple University Lew Klein Alumni in the Media award in 2010. She has two Emmy nominations and one win; she was nominated for "Education Nation" in 2010 and for her 1999 segment "The Bottom Line," and she won the Emmy for her part in covering Barack Obama's first inauguration. She works with charities and organizations that strive to end homelessness, illiteracy and domestic violence. Her broadcasting career began in Texas at KBTX.
