As of 2015, Tamron Hall remains at MSNBC, hosting or co-hosting multiple programs. Hall also co-presents the third hour of NBC's "Today" and works for the Discovery Channel. In 2013, news outlets reported that CNN considered hiring Hall away from MSNBC, but the reporter remained with MSNBC.

The third hour of "Today" also goes by the name "Today's Take." Hall hosts MSNBC's afternoon "NewsNation with Tamron Hall," which focuses on national and international news, as well as entertainment stories. The show airs weekdays from 2 to 3 p.m. EST. Hall also hosts the show "Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall" on the Investigation Discovery cable channel.
