What tattoo symbolizes loyalty?

There are numerous symbols representing loyalty that can be used as inspiration for a tattoo. The heart, the Irish "claddagh", the French "fleur-de-lis" and the Egyptian "ankh" all represent loyalty. Additionally, animals, such as swallows, cranes, eagles, wolves, elephants and dogs represent loyalty.

Some other ways to represent the concept of loyalty through tattoos is to use characters from different alphabets. For example, both the Chinese and Japanese have characters representing loyalty, and the ancient Norse runic alphabet has a rune, "ehwaz", that represents loyalty. Also, adding the color blue into the design of any tattoo is symbolic of loyalty.
