Why teach science in primary schools?
By Forinfos - 15/04/2025 - 0 comments
With the importance of a science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforce growing in the United States, teaching science in the primary schools is important so that students foster a love for and confidence in scientific studies from a young age. Teaching science to younger students helps instill a love for science, and it can counter the effects of students losing interest in science during the middle school years.
Young students learn well with integrative and hands-on lessons, making the primary school years the perfect time to build an interest in the sciences. The more background children have in science, the easier it will be to expand their scientific studies in high school and college.
