What are some team-building activities?

Some team-building activities include the trust fall and back-to-back drawing. These activities focus on building trust within a team and encourage cooperation instead of individual competition. After each activity, the group leader can discuss what the participants learned from working as a team.

For the trust fall, one member of the team stands backwards on a raised platform, while the rest of the team stands below to catch him as he leans back off of the platform. In back-to-back drawing, team members sit with their backs facing each other. One team member gets a picture, and the other gets a pencil and paper. The team member with the picture tries to describe it to the other team member so he can draw it as accurately as possible.
