What is Technic Launcher?

The Technic Launcher is a modification tool that allows Minecraft players to install mods without having to modify .jar files on their own. The tool was developed with the aim of streamlining the Minecraft modification process for server administrators, content creators and the average player.

As of June 2015, the latest version of the Technic Launcher is version 4.0, which is compatible with Windows, Linux and OSX. This version of the tool features a more user-friendly launcher design and allows users to install Minecraft modpacks directly from it. This version of the Technic Launcher also features a news section within the user interface and includes a notification system for any updates.
