How do you change your Snapchat name?

Snapchat does not currently support the feature to change your name as of January 2015. However, you can delete your existing Snapchat account and create a new account with your desired name.

1. Delete your account

   Visit support.snapchat.com/delete-account, provide your account details, and follow the instructions to delete your account. Be aware that your previous contacts and Snapchat scores are removed when you delete your account.

2. Log out of the application

   Open the Snapchat application. Press the gear icon in the top right corner to reveal more options, then select Log Out at the bottom of the screen.

3. Create a new account

   Once you log out, select Sign Up at the Snapchat login interface. Choose your desired Snapchat name, and follow the instructions to create your account.
