To resize a window in Windows 7, move the mouse pointer to any borders of the window, click and hold down the left mouse button, and drag the mouse left and right, or up and down, depending on the selected border. Alternatively, click on the corners to resize it diagonally.
Resize a window to its maximum size by clicking on the Maximize button in the title bar of the window, or by selecting the Maximize option from the menu after right-clicking on the window in the taskbar. To restore the size of the window to its previous size, click on the Restore button that replaces the Maximize button. You can also switch between the normal and maximized state by double-clicking on an empty spot on the title bar.
