Are reviews of NationalCreditReport.com generally positive?

Most online reviews of NationalCreditReport.com are generally negative. The negative ratings, however, are not due to the trustworthiness or accuracy of the credit reports they provide; rather, they are due to the free trial requirement customers must sign up for to obtain a credit report.

The majority of complaints seen on RipoffReport, Knoji and the Better Business Bureau claim that NationalCreditReport.com requires the consumer to sign up for a free seven-day trial by paying a refundable fee of $1.95, which renews at $14.95 per month if the customer does not cancel the subscription. Generally, these consumers complained that they found it extremely difficult to cancel their trial memberships; they can only cancel the subscriptions over the phone, and customers often experienced long hold times or other difficulties in contacting a representative.
