Which telephone companies offer cheap cellphone plans?

Many companies offer low-cost cellular plans as of 2015, including Consumer Cellular, H20 Wireless and Straight Talk. These plans can cost as little as $10 per month, but many inexpensive cell phone plans do not offer the same services as more expensive options or may have additional charges.

Very low-cost cellular service plans often do not include any services aside from mobile calling, such as mobile data or SMS text messaging. These services may also charge additional fees for using such features or even for using cellular minutes. For example, the $10-a-month plan offered by Consumer Cellular includes no cellular minutes and customers are charged an additional 25 cents for each minute of cellular time they use.
