"Classical Stretch" was created in 1999 by host and producer Miranda Esmonde-White. It has been rated the number one fitness show on PBS for over 15 years.
The longest running public fitness show on American TV, "Classical Stretch" offers full-body workouts with exercises to help increase mobility and flexibility. Each 30-minute episode is based on Miranda Esmonde-White's Essentrics, a fitness technique she developed in accordance with the program. As of 2015, "Classical Stretch" has aired over 300 episodes across 10 seasons and can be viewed on public television stations or on DVD. Miranda Esmonde-White's book, "Aging Backward," is also available in stores.
