Some names of tertiary colors are blue-violet, yellow-green and red-orange. Tertiary colors also include variations of browns and grays. They are formed by mixing the three primary colors together. Primary colors can also be mixed with secondary colors to obtain tertiary colors.
The primary colors are red, yellow and blue. They exist naturally, and are unable to be created by mixing other colors. Secondary colors are formed from mixing together two of the primary colors. Orange is the result of red and yellow mixed together; green is the result of blue mixed with yellow. Black is added to darken colors, while white is added to lighten them.
