Therapedic mattresses are a brand designed to help people sleep better by supporting the body during sleep. Each Therapedic mattress is handmade. There are eight different lines of Therapedic mattresses sold in the United States as of 2015. These lines included Agility, BackSense, Buoyancy, Memory Touch and Kathy Ireland.
Founded in New Jersey in 1957, Therapedic introduced MediCoil, its first line of mattresses, in 1961. By 1965, Therapedic began to sell mattresses internationally with a store in Puerto Rico. In 2003, Therapedic started to sell its products through the store Bed, Bath and Beyond. The company also sells electric blankets under the name Sunbeam.
