Will there be a third season of the TV series "Case Histories" as of 2015?

There have been no official reports or confirmations that there will be a third season of the British television series "Case Histories," as of September 2015. The lead actor Jason Isaacs stated that he would enjoy doing a third season in an interview with DigitalSpy.com, on May 26, 2013.

"Case Histories" is based on the detective novels by Kate Atkinson. The last novel that Atkinson wrote was in 2010, so a lack of source material may be a reason that the show has not continued, as pointed out by DigitalSpy.com. The first season of "Case Histories" aired in 2011 on BBC1 and PBS, and the second season aired in 2013. The series earns a rating of eight out of 10 stars on IMDb.com.
