Torres runs the Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans in addition to working as a professional animal trainer. She stars in the Animal Planet television show, "Pitbulls and Parolees." It features her work rescuing Pit Bulls and other dog breeds from abuse, neglect, abandonment and shelter death. At the center, the dogs get medical treatment, spaying or neutering, and re-acclimatization to humans before they are adopted.
