Clean the area before repairing, and allow each refinishing glaze application to dry completely, approximately 24 hours, before applying the next coat. Glazes are available for purchase at many home centers, hardware stores and paint suppliers or can be ordered online.
After cleaning, allow the area being repaired to completely dry before applying the first coat of glaze. For a less noticeable repair, be sure to buy the glaze color that most closely matches the porcelain being repaired. Apply as many coats of glaze as is needed to fill the damaged area completely. After the final coat is dry, gently sand the area with the sand paper supplied with the glaze. To finish, buff with a soft cloth.
