Study for a vocabulary test by writing the vocabulary words on one side of a paper and the definitions on the other side of the paper. Afterward, cover the definitions and try to recite the definition from memory. Check the definition and repeat until all of the words are memorized.

Create a set of flash cards with the vocabulary word on the front of the card and the definition on the back of each card. Read each vocabulary word and try to give the correct definition or vice-versa until all of the words are memorized. Study with a partner using flash cards by having the partner read a word aloud and respond with the definition.
