A Titanic submersible model is a historically accurate miniature plastic replica of the Royal Mail Ship Titanic. The model floats on water and also has to ability to break in half and then sink. It is packaged with a book that explores the history of the ship.
The Titanic was the largest passenger ship ever built when it set sail from Southampton, England on April 10, 1912. Its capacity was 3,300 people. On April 14 at approximately 11:30 PM, four days into the maiden voyage, the Titanic struck an iceberg, which caused a 300-foot gash along its bottom. The ship sank at 2:20 AM on April 15 and left only 705 survivors.
