What are the top cities with the most historical rainfall?

Cities in the continental U.S. with the most historical rainfall include Mobile, Alabama, Pensacola, Florida, New Orleans, Louisiana, West Palm Beach, Florida and Lafayette, Louisiana. This is according to a study conducted by WeatherBill Inc. that examined the average rainfall over a 30-year period of cities in the lower 48.

The study indicated Mobile averaged 67 inches of rainfall per year over an average 59 rainy days annually. Pensacola, New Orleans, West Palm Beach and Lafayette receive an average of 65, 64, 63 and 62 annual inches, respectively.

Olympia, Washington had the most annual rainy days on average with 63, but ranked just 24th in total rainfall.
