The Can-Am Spyder roadster is restricted to 110 mph by a governor. It is able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

According to Motor Trend, the Can-Am Spyder is made by Bombardier Recreation Products. The roadster weighs 697 pounds and is powered by a 998-cubic-centimeter V-twin engine made in Austria. The Spyder engine is detuned to make 106 horsepower and 77 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission with reverse, and the final drive uses a toothed rubber belt. Low tire pressure as well as technology, such as traction control, Bosch stability and anti-lock brakes, keep the Sypder stable when accelerating or stopping and avoid tipping while cornering.
