The 2014 Suzuki Hayabusa reaches a top speed of 299 Km/H, or 185.79 mph. In 2010, the Hayabusa broke the fastest street bike world record at 272.34 mph.
The Suzuki Hayabusa was introduced into the market in 1999. Even though it is still considered a "young model," many motorcycle enthusiasts prefer its sleek design and maneuverability. Early in its production, the motorcycle managed just over 200 mph. In 2001, however, the engine was mandated to a maximum of 186 mph to avoid the dangers of a speed war between motorcycle manufacturers.
