Does the toucan have any predators?

Toucans have predators. In the wild, they are prey for jaguars and other big cat species. Humans also capture toucans because they are popular pets. Toucans are known for their colorful, oversized bills.
The Toco toucan’s large bill may visually deter predators, but it does not make a very powerful weapon when attacked. The bill is a network of bone that contains lots of air. The bill is used to help the toucan reach and skin fruit when feeding.
The toucan itself is an omnivore, which means it is a predator as well. Toucans eat insects in addition to fruit. Less often, they eat eggs, young birds and lizards.
