Where are Toyota Land Cruisers assembled?

Land Cruisers are assembled at Toyota's Tahara plant in Japan. The Tahara plant began production in 1979 and first assembled the Land Cruiser Prado in 1996 and the Land Cruiser 200 in 2007.

The 2015 Land Cruiser features seating for eight with ventilated and heated seats, four-zone automatic climate control, backup camera and dynamic radar cruise control. The double overhead cam 32-valve V8 engine produces 381 horsepower and 8,200 pounds towing capacity. As of March 2015, the manufacturer's suggested retail price of the 2015 Land Cruiser is $81,080. According to Toyota, this makes the Land Cruiser a better value than the comparable Lexus LX 570, also manufactured by Toyota.
