What are traffic counts?
By Forinfos - 10/06/2025 - 0 comments
Traffic count is a general term used to quantify a certain element that passes a defined point during a specified time period. Traffic counts can ascertain patterns for a wide variety of uses, including sales and marketing, safety, political, construction and safety.
Sales and marketing traffic counts are the most common type. Collection methods may use physical counters, such as turnstiles, or less-obvious methods such as cameras, both visible and hidden. The collected data and the patterns it indicates can track information such as how many customers per day come into a store, what days have more customers, or the number of store visitors who make purchases.
