How do you transfer money from your bank to PayPal?

To send money from your bank account to your PayPal account, login to PayPal, link and confirm your bank account information, and choose "Add Money" on your PayPal home screen. Money is sent via Automated Clearing House transfer, which typically takes 3 to 5 days.

1. Log in to your PayPal account

   Use your registered email address and password to log in to your PayPal account.

2. Link your bank account

   Go to your Profile page, and select "Add or Edit Bank Account." Enter your routing number, account number and bank name, then save the information.

3. Confirm your bank account

   Your bank account must be confirmed before you can use it to add funds to your PayPal account. If you use online banking, you can often confirm your bank account instantly. Simply follow the onscreen instructions. If you are unable to confirm your account instantly, PayPal makes two small deposits to your bank account within 2 or 3 days. Log in to PayPal, and confirm the amounts of these deposits to finish linking your bank account.

4. Click "Add Money" on your PayPal home screen

   Under "My Account," choose "Add Money." Select the bank account you wish to use, enter the dollar amount to transfer and click "Add." You can view the expected arrival date of your funds by clicking "Activity" and selecting the transaction.
