What are some treatments for lipomas?
By Forinfos - 04/03/2025 - 0 comments
Doctors typically don't treat lipomas if they are not causing any secondary problems, according to WebMD. If they do enlarge or cause issues, a surgeon or doctor can excise them.
Lipomas are fatty tumors that are benign, states WebMD. They can occur virtually anywhere on the human body, but they most often develop on the torso, upper thighs and arms, armpits or the neck. These tumors do not typically cause any pain or symptoms and do not usually cause the patient any discomfort. If they cause symptoms, then a surgeon can remove them with a small incision under local anesthetic.
