Is Truvia sweetener really natural?
By Forinfos - 27/01/2026 - 0 comments
Truvia sweetener is a natural sweetener because of its use of only naturally occurring ingredients, according to Truvia.com. The main sweetening agent in Truvia is stevia leaf extract, which is 200 times sweeter than sugar.
Making Truvia takes a six-step process, beginning with cultivating stevia seedlings in Asian and South American greenhouses and ending with purifying stevia extract and blending it with erythritol and natural flavors. Erythritol acts as a naturally occurring sweetener and a bulking agent that disperses the product's flavor evenly, while natural flavors enhance the taste of the sweetener. In addition to being natural, Truvia is also gluten-free, kosher, diabetic-friendly and MSG-free.
