What are the TSSAA playoffs?

The TSSAA is a nonprofit agency that operates to bring athletic programs to secondary school students in Tennessee.

The TSSAA has a membership of 402 high schools as of 2015, states the TSSAA website. The TSSAA is a nonprofit organization, and it is supported through dues and earnings from tournaments. The association has eligibility rules for participants, and athletes must follow the outlined code of conduct in order to participate in any of the activities.
