Tulips are symbolic of perfect love and they are the flower for an 11th wedding anniversary, especially red tulips. There are different meanings for the different colors of tulips.
Yellow tulips stand for happy and cheerful thoughts, white tulips represent forgiveness and purple tulips convey royalty. The red tulip is a part of folklore and its symbolism may be rooted in a man who killed himself after learning his love died. Legend has it that the red tulip gets its color from droplets of his blood and due to the reason he was bleeding, the red tulip is representative of perfect love.
