Who is Turles from "Dragon Ball Z"?

Turles, also romanized as "Tullece" and "Taurus," is a villain from the third "Dragon Ball Z" movie, "The Tree of Might." He also appears in three of the franchise's video games.

Like the protagonist Goku, Turles is a Saiyan from the planet Vegeta. He resembles Goku because all low-class Saiyan warriors have the same facial patterns that identify their rank. He deserted the Saiyan Army to conquer planets with his own force. In the movie, he plants a Shinjeisu tree, which is a plant that sucks the energy out of a planet, on Earth. He hopes to eat the Shinjeisu's fruit and become a stronger warrior.
