The Carus Publishing Company publishes magazines. It is primarily known for children's magazines in the fields of literature, social studies, world and American history, archaeology, science and world cultures.

Carus Publishing began with Cricket magazine as the Cricket Magazine Group in 1973. The company has since expanded the magazine to different editions targeted at specific age groups. In 2000, Carus acquired Cobblestone Publishing and its line of science and social studies magazines. Carus was acquired in 2011 by ePals Corporation, but it retains its name on publications. Carus also publishes a range of nonfiction books for young adults under the Cricket Books imprint.
