What type of oil is PurCellin?

PurCelin oil is not a single type of oil, but a delivery system called cetearyl octanoate that allows for Bio-Oil to be absorbed into the skin. It is part of a specialized skincare product that helps in minimizing the appearance of stretch marks, uneven skin tones and scars.

Although PurCelin oil is most often associated with Bio-Oil, it is a synthetic emollient that is commonly used in formulating a large range of hair care and skin products. PurCelin makes personal care products non-greasy and light by improving the overall consistency. It is most often sold in bulk to personal care manufacturers.
